We are celebrating National Transportation Week in Kansas the week of May 11 – 16, 2025.

National Transportation Week was created by the United States Congress with a joint resolution approved May 14, 1962 (76 Stat. 69), that requested the President to proclaim annually the week of May in which the third Friday (National Defense Transportation Day) falls as National Transportation Week, as a tribute to the men and women who, night and day, move our goods and our people throughout the land and around the world.

Each year, the President of the United States issues a new proclamation. Click here for the 2024 Proclamation.
