StatewideWhy I Ride. The Kansas Mobility Managers are launching a new page on the Kansas Rides website for passengers to share stories about traveling in Kansas. The announcement will happen on the Kansas Rides Facebook page on Tuesday, May 16th.
StatewideMobility Mentions. The first Mobility Mentions Facebook post will launch on the Kansas Rides Facebook page on Thursday, May 18th.
AbileneGo Anywhere Summer Pass. OCCK Transportation launches their GoAbilene Go Anywhere Summer Pass for youth ages 7-18 on May 15th.
BeloitPassenger Appreciation. Solomon Valley Transportation is providing goody bags to passengers this week.
BeloitTransit Awareness. Solomon Valley Transportation is providing t-shirts to all employees specifically for National Transportation Week.
ConcordiaTransit Awareness. Sunset Home will have activities around transportation with their Nursing Home Week activities.
Garden CityYouth Go Free. Finney County Transit starts its Summer 2023 Youth Go Free series on May 17th.
HeringtonPassenger Appreciation. Hilltop Center/City of Herington will be showing passenger appreciation this week by handing out free ride passes.
MinneapolisTransit Awareness. Ottawa County Public Transportation will be holding a social media campaign around transit this week.
SalinaGet to Know & Go. Mobility Manager Michelle will travel to the Ashby House for a Facebook Live on Monday, May 15th as part of the Get to Know & Go monthly series.
SalinaGet On & Go Summer Pass. OCCK Transportation launches their CityGo Get On & Go Summer Pass for youth ages 7-18 on May 15th.
SalinaPassenger Appreciation. Central Kansas Mental Health Center will be providing gift cards to all riders on one particular day.
SalinaPublic Barbecue. OCCK Transportation is hosting its annual NTW BBQ on May 17th from 11a – 2 p at 340 N. Santa Fe. Hot dogs and chips will be served. All are welcome.
SalinaHealth Fair. OCCK Transportation will have a booth at the Department of Senior Services Health Fair on Friday, May 19th at the Salina Senior Center.
SalinaLibrary Kick-Off Party. CityGo will have a bus at the Salina Public Library’s event on Friday, May 18th. Kids can climb on board to check it out. There will be games and other activities.
SalinaOut of School Bash. OCCK Transportation will have a booth at the Central Kansas Foundation Out of School Bash on Friday, May 19th t the City Lights stage.
TopekaKids Ride FREE! Topeka Metro is launching its 10th year of no-cost bus transportation to youth ages 18 and under on May 15th.
