EllsworthBike to Work Day Challenge. Anyone in Ellsworth County that bikes to work on May 19th and tags Grow Ellsworth County will be entered to win a local prize package. Hosted by Grow Ellsworth County and the Midway District of K-State Research and Extension.
JamestownJamestown Bike Rodeo. Bring your bikes and scooters and be ready to ride on Saturday, May 20th, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at 311 Walnut. Bike helmets available while supplies last. Free bike drawing, prizes, and games. Register in person or online at the Facebook event page.
Johnson CountyArtist Submissions. Now through May 15, the Johnson County Library is accepting submissions for their “The Art of Biking” exhibit. Overland ParkConfident City Cycling Class.  Learn new concepts for navigating streets and build practical bike-handling skills necessary for city riding. This class includes a group ride where you can practice your new skills in a safe and supportive environment. This class takes place on May 20th. SalinaSlow Saturday Social Rides. Come join some locals for Saturday morning bike rides each Saturday in May. Bring your bike and meet at the City Lights Stage at the corner of Santa Fe and Ash at 9:00 a.m. on the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th for a 8-12 mile slow ride around Salina.
SalinaNational Bike to Work Day. Residents across the region are encouraged to participate in National Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 19th. Grab some friends or coworkers and find your best bike route to work. Snap some photos and post on social media using #salinabikestowork2023 or #kansasbikestowork2023.

TopekaTour of Topeka. Tour of Topeka is a ride/run event celebrating the connecting of Shawnee County Parks + Recreation’s trail system across the community. Festivities begin at Dornwood Park. The bicycle rides and 5K run/walk leave via the new Deer Creek Trail Extension. Cyclists can choose from a 33.6-mile route along the Shunga, Deer Creek, and Lake Shawnee Trails and back to Dornwood, a 10-mile route to and around Lake Shawnee, or an out-and back 5K route along the Deer Creek Trail.
