NEW MOBILITY MANAGER FOR AREA TRANSPORTATION AGENCY
MANHATTAN – The Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency, or FHATA, has announced the
hiring of Michael Wilson as its new mobility manager for the Flint Hills region.
Wilson will work within the counties of Riley, Geary, Pottawatomie, Dickinson, Clay, Marshall
and Washington to identify and close gaps in transportation services. He will also help facilitate
agreements and relationships among transportation providers, major employment and medical
providers, and cities and counties.
“I have a passion for my community and the great people in this region,” Wilson said. “I look
forward to using the available resources to improve mobility for riders of all ages and needs,
while also promoting collaboration among providers and reducing costs.”
Previously the operations manager at Redi Systems in Manhattan, Wilson has more than seven
years of experience in management and customer service. He and his wife, Haley, live in
Manhattan.
Mobility management is a joint project between the member transportation agencies in the
seven-county region and the Kansas Department of Transportation. For more information about
